The new diocese of Udaipur would comprise of the six districts of Udaipur Rajasamand Bhilwara Chittorgarh Dungarpur and Banswara in South Rajasthan and the adjoining Tehsil of Thandla (Jhabua district) in Madhya Pradesh. The same was the Bhil - Tribal area evangelized by the Diocese of Ajmer almost from the beginning of the twentieth century.
