Adlimina Visit 2011

Making their “ad limina” visits to the Vatican to report on how things are going in their dioceses, the Indian bishops went to the pope's summer villa at Castel Gandolfo, where they had a few minutes alone with the pope, then met with him in groups of six, seven or eight for a 20-minute discussion.

The Nunciature Chapel

The new beautiful mosaic polyptych which adorns the presbytery of the Chapel of the Apostolic Nunciature in Delhi is authored by the Keralite artist and CMI priest Fr. Joy Elamkunnapuzha, assisted by his school of ‘disciples’. It is constituted of five different scenes, all focused and oriented towards the central crucified Christ, a precious bronze sculpture made by the illustrious Italian artist Romano Lucacchini (1938-2006).
